There are a lot of interesting sites in a salon. As you scan the perimeter of any salon there are women looking their absolute worst. There are various root and over all color, as well as stacks of foils that look like something from the movie
Alien. I have become a frequent customer at the threading/henna salon. The threading process just takes minutes and the charge is $10 dollars or less. Waxing for a face at a salon will run around $25.
I have not used many of the services at the Henna salon. My first shock was seeing someone with henna on their hair. It was more fascinating than all the foils that one could have on their head. After finishing the henna application on the client, the attendant was wiping up the floor with a paper towel and a bare foot. When she motioned for me to come to her chair, I approached it very carefully. I asked about the henna on the hair and she said it must stay on for two hours. The client went to the door, paid and walked to her car. I hoped that she got home without incident because the hair was quite a mess. Apparently the client is instructed that after two hours they should go outside and wash the hair with a water hose. I assume that the weather needs to be warm and that outdoors is preferred because henna will stain everything in site.
I am not sure of the cost, but this looks like a hassle. If you have to leave the salon without removing the product, then the styling is left up to the client. However, the result is truly beautiful.
Someday I would like to have henna done on my hands or arms. However, I am not sure henna would fly in the board room as Donald Trump would say.
